Our Scholarships

True North offers several in-house scholarships available to eligible students across San Miguel and West Montrose counties. For the upcoming Spring grant cycle, students will be invited/receive a referral to apply for all True North scholarships.

  • About: The namesake of this scholarship, Skyler Kelly, faced many challenges in her life and overcame all of them to become an extraordinary young woman with a lasting legacy and positive impact on her community and all who knew her.

  • About: John Mansfield was a beloved community member, talented artist, vibrant soul, and a close friend and mentor to many of us at True North. John truly exemplified and believed in the power of mentoring young people. With the blessing of John’s sister Judy and his family, we honor him with a scholarship award.

  • True North's Food Service Industry Scholarship recognizes the hard work of an individual in part of the food service industry (farm to table). If you have worked to produce food on a farm, worked in a grocery store, or catering business, or restaurant, please consider applying.

  • Our eponymous True North Scholarship recognizes the hard work of a student who has demonstrated success in holding a job, internship or apprenticeship. Participation in True North programming throughout high school is not a requirement, but will be favorably considered.
